The PDF report

The analysis lives on screen — the PDF report takes it out of the app. File > Export as PDF… (Cmd + Ctrl + E), on an analyzed game, produces a polished, self-contained document, from the player’s point of view.

What the report contains

• The summary page — the players and their ratings, the result, both sides’ accuracy: the game summed up on one page.
• The annotated game — every move with its classification, and ”→ p. N” references to the critical positions detailed further on.
• The critical positions — one diagram per decisive moment (blunders first, then mistakes and missed opportunities), oriented from the player’s point of view: if the game was played as Black, so are the diagrams.

What it’s for

The report is made to circulate:

• The coach debrief — the game goes out by email, gets annotated in pen, gets discussed at the club without a screen.
• Following a student or a child — the parent or trainer receives a readable document, without needing the app.
• The archive — a season’s memorable games, printed or filed, independent of any software.
